Service Description
A practical pre-purchase property inspection designed to highlight visible defects, areas of concern and potential maintenance issues before you commit to buying. The inspection combines visual building assessment with diagnostic tools where appropriate and can include: • Roof condition inspection • Drone-assisted roof imagery where suitable • Damp and moisture checks • Thermal imaging where conditions allow • Visible external defects • Windows, doors and key junctions • Signs of water ingress or condensation • General observations of accessible internal areas • Photographs of relevant findings • Written findings with practical recommendations The aim is to help buyers understand potential problem areas and decide whether further specialist investigation is needed before purchase. This service is not an RICS Home Survey, structural engineering survey or valuation. It is a visual property diagnostics inspection of accessible areas.
Cancellation Policy
Appointments are subject to confirmation after we review the property location, size and inspection requirements. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations or changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in the booking deposit being retained. Thermal imaging inspections are dependent on suitable weather and temperature conditions. Where conditions are unsuitable for reliable thermal imaging, we may contact you to reschedule the inspection at no additional charge. Drone-assisted roof inspections are also subject to suitable weather, site conditions and applicable flight restrictions. Inspection times are approximate and may vary depending on property size, access and findings during the inspection. Full terms and conditions will be provided with your booking confirmation.
