A professional investigation for properties affected by damp patches, mould, condensation, staining, musty smells or unexplained moisture. We combine visual inspection, moisture readings, thermal imaging where appropriate and practical building knowledge to help identify the likely source of the problem rather than simply treating the visible symptoms. The investigation can include: • Moisture readings to affected areas • Thermal imaging where conditions allow • Condensation and mould assessment • Investigation of possible water ingress • Roof, gutter and external defect observations where relevant • Inspection around windows, doors and wall junctions • Assessment of ventilation and condensation risk • Identification of possible plumbing or drainage-related moisture • Photographs of relevant findings • Written findings and practical recommendations Suitable for homeowners, landlords, homebuyers and property professionals experiencing recurring damp, mould, condensation or unexplained moisture. The inspection is primarily non-invasive. Where opening-up or specialist testing is recommended, this will be explained separately.
